Embark Group (Embark), one of the UK’s leading retirement solution providers, has announced plans to hire more than 50 people in Dundee over the next few months, as it continues to build out its operations in the city.
There are a wide range of roles on offer, from entry level administrative roles to IT development, customer services, HR and marketing. Embark is seeking to hire individuals at all levels and stages of their career; whether just starting out, semi-retired with life experience and good IT skills, looking for a career change, currently not employed or a parental leave returner.

This announcement is part of Embark’s ambitious growth plans, following its acquisition by Lloyds Banking Group. As part of this, Embark will be focused on delivering an extensive technology roadmap for its investment platform, as well as supporting Lloyds Banking Group with its direct to consumer investment and robo-advice offerings. As a result, Embark is firmly establishing itself as a destination employer for people seeking a career with a blue chip organisation focused on financial services and technology.
Embark has a strong commitment to Dundee, having hired over 50 people in 2021, complementing the 110 existing colleagues located in the city since 2020. Embark is playing its part in turning the area into a destination for FinTech businesses with integral support and assistance from Scottish Enterprise, which is seeking to establish and grow Scotland as a leading European FinTech hub.
Embark has also provided sponsorship funding for Embark Dundee, Scotland’s largest e-bike scheme, as part of its commitment to supporting the local community. Embark Dundee had 15,987 users who saved an estimated 95,400m3 of carbon last year alone. The scheme is set to expand further this year.
